How Prestige Works in MW4

Once you reach Rank 55, the Prestige system opens – and for the first time in the series, MW4 lets you pick between two Prestige paths, each with its own rewards.

Path	What Happens
Classic Prestige	Resets your level and re-locks your Create-a-Class unlocks, but grants a 20% XP boost to earn them back faster, plus exclusive rewards. This is the path to Master Prestige.
Regular Prestige	Restarts you at Level 1 for the rank and emblem but keeps every unlock, with no XP boost. Its own rewards and milestones, including a Ghost skin.
Master Prestige	The summit of the Classic path – permanently unlocks all multiplayer content, after which you keep climbing Prestige levels from there.

How long does an MW4 Prestige boost take?

It depends on how many Prestiges you order and which path you choose. Each Prestige is a full re-climb, so a single Prestige moves faster than a run to Master Prestige, which is several cycles back to back. We give you a realistic estimate before we start and keep you updated as your Prestige rank climbs – you can watch it move in-game at any time.

Do I need to be Rank 55 before ordering a Prestige boost?

Yes – Prestige only unlocks once you hit Rank 55. If you’re not there yet, add our MW4 Level Boosting to your order and we’ll take you from your current rank to 55 and then straight into the Prestiges you want, all in one go.

Should I choose Classic or Regular Prestige?

Pick Classic Prestige if you want the traditional reset with a 20% XP boost and exclusive rewards – you re-earn your unlocks faster and it’s the path to Master Prestige. Pick Regular Prestige if you’d rather keep all your unlocks and just take the rank, emblem and its rewards, including a Ghost skin, with no XP boost. What is Master Prestige and can you reach it?

Master Prestige sits at the top of the Classic Prestige path and permanently unlocks all multiplayer content, after which you keep climbing Prestige levels. Yes, we can grind all the way to it – just select the Master Prestige option, or tell support your goal and we’ll map out the full run for you.

Is Prestige boosting safe? Can I get banned?
